Today I suggest you other interesting solution for making of the PDA-version of a site. Let’s make so that the pda-version was accessible to the address of pda.yourdomain.com.
For this purpose let’s create a subdomain pda.yourdomain.com which is anĀ alias to the main site yourdomain.com. On many hostings it can be made without assistance in the Control panel. There or it is possible to set an alias for the main domain, or it is possible to specify at a subdomain creation a path to Document Root same as at the main domain.

Excellent Work! I had to comment out the cookie check because it wouldn’t replace the links from www to pda once I left the homepage. Now I just need to find a way to have Joomla show 1 column for the pda-frontpage and 2 for the normal site

Thanks. I have corrected the mambot.
What about differing front page—I think about it and may be in the next release (2.0) of a mambot I suggest some solution of this problem.

Help me ! I got an error message and even can not load my original joomla homepage.
The following is the message :
"Direct Access to this location is not allowed."
I would like to repair the original homepage first.
Thx.
